The English retrievers are the ones with the lighter colored coats and these are in fact the White Golden retrievers. American ones have far darker coats and in some of their breeds the coloring can even go as dark as mahogany.
This type of dog has very short fur which takes very little care or grooming and their bodies are shorter and stockier than other retrievers.
The White Golden retriever has a very square face and a short nose and their eyes are slightly darker than other breeds. Their facial expression is also very different to other dogs due to the positioning of its ears and eyes and it is often this expression which appeals to people.
These dogs are bred to withstand the wet cold winters in England and are often used as hunting dogs as well as household pets as they are very obedient and willing to learn new commands from their owners.
White Golden retrievers love being around people and will thrive with company they don't however enjoy being left alone for long periods of time.
This is why they are suited to busy households with children running around with lots of noise and activity. They are also excellent as guide dogs and disability dogs as they love to help their owners and please them.
Although their color is amazing and they will look striking you need to ensure that you are getting a pure breed retriever and not a mixed breed to give you the coloring you require. Mixed breeds will often have a completely different temperament to pure breeds.
If you really want a White Golden retriever and you are prepared to look around for a pure bred one then you will be very happy.
The dog will become a very good member of the family and will be loyal to you forever your children will grow up around them and will love them unconditionally.
Dogs are great to have around children as they help to teach them responsibility and loyalty and selecting the right breed is essential.
You will never be disappointed with your White Golden retriever in all the years it will be in your home.
